Scanditronix-Wellhöfer (SCX) - Sweden Scanditronix-Wellhofer has provided for more than 30 years a wide range of sophisticated and customized dosimetry equipment for applications in radiotherapy and radiodiagnostics, in hospitals and by industry partners across the world. Scanditronix-Wellhöfer, a private company located at Uppsala, is an affiliate of the IBA group, and set to be an European leader for dosimetry applications in radiotherapy. In MAESTRO project Scanditronix-Wellhofer in involved in the development of dosimetry sensors, specially the pixel ionisation chamber dedicated to proton-therapy. After project completion the company will be interested by the commercialisation of the hi-tech dosimetry sensors studied and validated by the consortium.
