REM Radioterapia SRL - Italy In Catania, REM, 15 employees (radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiotherapy technicians), a free-standing radiotherapy facility founded in 1962 has gradually expanded to a full oncology oriented center (Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine). The radiotherapy department consists of two treatment machines, one of which can provide IMRT treatment. An average of 900 patients are treated every year. In MAESTRO Project, REM is involved in clinical activities consisting of requirements in radiotherapy and validation of the main products developed in the project.
