| Delft University of Technology (TUD) The Delft University and the Interfaculty Reactor Institute, is the national centre for University radiation-related research and training, including systems and technologies for radiation detection and medical aspects. Delft University of Technology is the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive technical university in the Netherlands. With over 13,000 students and 2100 scientists (including 200 professors), it is an establishment of both national importance and significant international standing. In MAESTRO project TUD is involved in the following topics: dosimetry and quality assurance in diagnostic radiology; neutron and photon dosimetry for radiobiology, radiotherapy and radiation protection; dosimetry intercomparisons; assessment of radiation quality.
