Ion Beam Applications (IBA) - Belgium

IBA is a private company involving 1400 employees. It is now a world leader in the areas of advanced radiotherapy and radioisotopes and industrial sterilization & ionisation. IBA's designed & manufactured accelerators, beam lines, gantries, targets & chemistry modules are installed worldwide in applications such as proton-therapy, radiotherapy, brachy-therapy, radioisotopes production and research centres. Those applications QA is assured by dedicated IBA dosimetry devices & equipments.
In addition to these developments, IBA's expertise in Proton-therapy is proposed for the definition of the general characteristics of the detectors to be used for the validation of the dose delivery system in this field.

In the project IBA in involved in all developments that may concern proton-therapy, including pixel ionisation chambers.
